OUR STORY

Anonymous Warrior can be traced back to one person, my stepdad Bob. He changed the direction of my life. Bob was an incredible human being and a marathoner. I came from a wrestling background and always hated running, so anything over three miles felt impossible. He’d joke with me all the time: “Sam, when are we running a marathon together, man?” And I’d always laugh and say, “Never, Bob.”

But I watched his mentality up close. No matter the circumstances: zero degrees outside, on vacation, whatever, Bob put his head down and ran. I remember one family weekend at a lake house. I was scraping myself out of bed after a night of drinking and he was walking in the door finishing his morning run. I asked, “How many miles today, Bob?” He said, “Oh, just seven.” “JUST seven??” But to him, it really was just seven. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone. He was simply doing what needed to be done.

Then in May 2025, Bob told us he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We didn’t know how much time we had left. One month later, in June 2025, he passed away. His loss rocked me. Around that time, I decided to do something I never planned on doing, start running. I laced up the shoes in his name. In his honor.

Running changed everything. It helped me process life, gave me a way to compete again, and started to erode the killswitch in my head that always told me to quit. Between June and December 2025 I ran 408 miles, something I never thought I’d do. Here I am today training for my first Ultramarathon. Like I said, it all traces back to one person. Bob.

In December, I realized the power of what had happened. How one person’s influence can spark massive change. And I realized there are so many people like Bob out there. Quiet warriors and unsung heroes who inspire us, shape us, and make us better. I wanted to create a brand that honors them.

We live by the motto: "You may know one. You may be one." Someone built you. Now it's your turn.

We exist because people like Bob exist. Honor the ones who built you. Become the one who builds someone else.

We exist for athletes, doers, and competitors who know they didn't get here alone. Someone pushed you. Someone modeled what discipline looks like. Someone made you believe the distance was possible. This brand is for them, and for you.

We call it the chain of legacy. One person shapes another, who goes on to shape someone else. That chain is quiet. It doesn't ask for credit. It just keeps moving forward.

People who compete not just for themselves, but because someone before them made it possible. That's who we build for. Everything we create represents them and their impact on you.
